2010 NEC Bridge Festival Blog 1
Posted 08 February 2010 by Ron
Suzie and I fly to Tokyo today, then taxi/coach to Yokohama for the NEC Invitation Teams. It is a very strong field this year. You can see the teams roster and follow the results on the www.abf.com.au website, plus I'll do a Daily Blog from there.
Two teams are coming from Australia: Peter Gill-Paul Gosney, Sartaj Hans-Tony Nunn and Ishmael Del'Monte-Ashley Bach, Matt Mullamphy and me. Looking forward to the even very much. Three years ago we reached the quarter-finals, last year the semis.
Saw a very powerful movie last week, The Hurt Locker about a bomb disposal squad in Iraq. Not for the faint of heart.
