As our team did not qualify for the Seniors final, Suzie and I had a day off yesterday, a pleasant, relaxing time in preparation for the South-West Pacific Teams, which starts today.
In the Seniors’ final, Bruce Neill – Avi Kanetkar, Robert Krochmalik – Paul Lavings, David Anderson – George Smolanko deafeated Barry Noble, Mischa Solar, George Bilski, Terry Brown, Apolina Kowalski, Jerzy Romanski by 133 Imps to 123.
The National Women’s Teams was won by Julia Hoffman, Sheila Bird, Eva Caplan, Karen Creet, Rena Kaplan, Jenny Thompson. They won the final by 177-96 against Carol Richardson, Christine Gibbons, Jenna Gibbons, Eileen Horsman.
